<blockquote>
hmm, I thought I left a note regarding your comments. My apologies for not doing so.

Tony, "discern the message" good thought. A lot of people think there isn't one.

Sheila, "non-visual healings" not sure what you mean there. There are documented cases from blind seeing to dead walking.

Marquita, I agree, "Healing, signs and miracles should not become the focus of our faith"

I have watched many night of the outpouring, and have had conversations with a few people who have been there. There is about 2-3 hours of worship and seeking God before the healing part of the service starts. It's not like they show up to the tent and say, "Let the healing begin!" They get in the presence of God, and the miracles happen. Many are healed that are not prayed over.

I agree with the counsel to reasearch scripture and weigh all things with the truth of the bible. I attended a charismatic church for several years, and understand that this can be an emotive intoxicating experience. Healing, signs and miracles should not become the focus of our faith as believers. We need to more earnestly seek the heart of God.

This does not appear to be scriptural. I can find nothing biblical or Godly in progressive, non-visual healings. Be cautious. Go to the bible and research the things that you are seeing and hearing to make certain that it is scripturally grounded.

Discernment is wise. I haven't researched this much so I won't make any accusations. My advice is to not get swept up in the healings (whether real or not) and discern the message. Does his message hold up to sound doctrine? Maybe it does, I have not researched it enough yet. However, signs and wonders can be done without it being from God. Just some caution. I'm skeptical when anyone makes more of a production of healing than Jesus ever did.
